About Oriah
Built around who you actually are.
We chose the name Oriah deliberately — warm, personal, grounded. That's how we show up.
A registered NDIS provider. Nothing more, nothing less.
Oriah is Maxx Care Pty Ltd, a registered NDIS provider operating in New South Wales and Queensland. We work with around 50 participants — people who needed a provider that would show up consistently, communicate plainly, and build support around their actual lives.
We're part of the Zera group. We don't operate at a scale where you become a number. Every participant has a named support lead. Every roster is built to maintain continuity.
Mark Saweriss.
With over two decades of experience in the disability sector, Mark Saweriss has dedicated his career to helping people navigate complex systems and achieve meaningful outcomes. Throughout his journey, he has worked across support coordination, accommodation, service delivery, and leadership roles, building a reputation for advocacy, integrity, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of people with disability.
Mark founded Oriah with a simple vision: to create a service that puts relationships before transactions and supports participants for the long term. Rather than focusing solely on delivering services, Oriah is built on understanding each person's goals, removing barriers, and providing consistent guidance through every stage of their journey.
Over the years, Mark has worked alongside participants, families, allied health professionals, providers, and the NDIA, gaining extensive experience in complex support coordination, Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Supported Independent Living (SIL), and capacity-building supports. He has also presented on NDIS pricing and sector changes, sharing practical knowledge with providers and stakeholders.
At the heart of Oriah is the belief that quality support should empower people to live with choice, control, and confidence. Every decision is guided by the organisation's commitment to being outcome-focused, accountable, and there for participants — from here, for life.
What we stand for
How we show up.
Warm, not clinical.
We write and speak the way we'd talk to a family member navigating a new NDIS plan. No sector jargon. No hiding behind process.
Considered, not loud.
We don't use superlatives. We don't claim to be number-one-rated. We let the quality of our work speak.
Specific, not generic.
Real names, real routines, real plans. We start where you actually are.
Steady, not performative.
We show up. Every shift. For as long as you need us. That's the whole promise.
Registration
A registered provider you can verify.
Oriah is registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Our registration covers Supported Independent Living, personal care, community participation, household tasks, and Specialist Disability Accommodation.
We do not currently deliver support coordination, high intensity daily personal activities, specialist behaviour support, or early childhood supports. Where a participant needs these, we refer to or partner with an appropriately registered provider.
